Quad bike Adventure Treks

All our boats are covered by a marine insurance policy. Our Quads are insured for on road and off road use and safety equipment will be provided for all Trekkers. The policies do not cover you for personal injury or lost of personal belongings.  Ionian Seafaris and Safaris will not accept responsibility for any personal injury or loss of belongings during the Charter or Quad Trek.

Ionian Seafari’s/Safaris highly recommends all clients to have adequate personal travel insurance prior to embarking on a Boat Charter or Quad Trek.

Ionian Seafari’s will require you to provide us with the name and policy number of your insurance prior to commencement of a Bareboat charter

Your contract is with Ionian Seafari’s and Safaris owned by Wayne and Alexandra Johnson-Vogel.

All bookings will be confirmed on receipt of a deposit and completed booking form.

Ionian Seafaris’ will endeavour to ensure that all our vessels and equipment are always in good condition, however we can not guarantee that breakdowns or failure  will not occur.  We will always endeavour to carry out repairs efficiently and promptly.

In any event Ionian Seafari’s shall not be liable for any loss, delay or inconvenience caused by the charter party due to any reason beyond our control.

Ionian Seafaris will provide our vessels fully equipped in compliance with local safety rules and regulations.  The vessels will be delivered to the charterer in a safe and seaworthy condition.

In the event that Ionian Seafari’s is unable to provide the  contracted vessel we will contact you to offer an alternative.  In the event that a suitable alternative can not be provided then full monies will be refunded to the charterer.

RIBS (Rigid Inflatable Boat) are ‘planing’ boats and are completely unsinkable due to their inflatable collars.  Ribs are becoming more and more popular due to their sea keeping abilities, they are used regularly by the Coastguard, RNLI even customs and excise. They are safe, buoyant and very stable not to mention hugely versatile and therefore loads of fun, especially here in the Ionian with warm seas, hot sunny days, and crystal clear aquamarine  water.

Bareboat Rib Charter is available to suitably qualified hirers holding a minimum certificate of  the RYA Level 2 Powerboat Licence or  an International Certificate of Competence.

Ionian Seafaris reserves the right to refuse a  bareboat charter to anyone they feel may lack sufficient experience.

Ionian Seafaris’ strongly advise that all our guests and charterer’s have adequate ‘Personal Travel Insurance’ that covers all activities and travel for the duration of your holiday.  Ionian Seafaris’ and Safaris does not and will not accept any responsibility for any injuries or loss or damage to personal effects during the period of the charter or trek

A deposit of minimum one days charter cost is required to secure your booking. Once received the deposit is non-refundable if you choose to cancel.  Date amendments may be made subject to avaialbility. The balance is payable 8 weeks prior to commencement of the charter

Deposits can be made by bank transfer, in Euros, British Pounds, Bank Details are provided on request.

Ionian Seafaris’ requires a security deposit of £500 or 650 Euros to be taken prior to the commencement of the charter.  The deposit is to cover any damage to the boat during the period of the charter boat which includes damage to the hull, engine and propeller, internal seating, safety equipment and boat papers or any expenses caused from late return of the boat.  This amount can be paid to the company representative in cash, travellers cheques, alternatively the deposit my be taken by credit card on the first day of the charter.

The deposit will be returned to you on the safe return of the boat, less any necessary monies due to cover any damages or losses sustained during the period of the charter.  Any deductions will be agreed between Ionian Seafaris representative on inspection of the boat at the end of the charter.
