Between May and October the weather in the Ionian is wonderful, sunny and ideal for boating. Temperatures vary from the mid to high 20’s in April, May and October, 30’s during June and September and a highs of up to 35 degrees during July and August. The sea temperature warms up during April and May and stays warm through until October. Most people will live in their swimming gear, but we recommend that you bring a warm jumper for the evenings and a light waterproof jacket.

Insurance
All our boats are fully covered by a marine insurance policy. Ionian Seafari’s requires all clients to have adequate personal travel insurance. Ionian Seafari’s will require you to provide us with the name and policy number of your insurance prior to taking charter of the boat.
Contract
Your contract is with Ionian Seafari’s owned by Wayne Johnson and Alexandra Vogel. All bookings are only confirmed once a deposit has been received and a confirmation receipt has been issued. Payment of a deposit confirms your acceptance of these terms and conditions.
Responsibilities and Liabilities
Ionian Seafari’s will endeavour to ensure that all our vessels and equipment are always in good condition, however we can not guarantee that breakdowns or failure will not occur. We will always endeavour to carry out repairs efficiently and promptly.
In any event Ionian Seafari’s shall not be liable for any loss, delay or inconvenience caused by the charter party due to any reason beyond our control.
Ionian Seafaris will provide our vessels fully equipped in compliance with local safety rules and regulations. The vessels will be delivered to the charterer in a safe and seaworthy condition.
In the event that Ionian Seafari’s is unable to provide the contracted vessel we will contact you to offer an alternative. In the event that a suitable alternative can not be provided then full monies will be refunded to the charterer.
Security Deposit
Ionian Seafari’s requires a security deposit to be taken prior to the commencement of the charter. This amount must be paid to the company representative in cash, cheque or travellers cheques, in euros of GBP equivalent, alternatively the deposit my be taken by credit card on the first day of the charter.
This amount will be returned to you on the safe return of the vessel following the charter, less any monies due to cover any damages or losses sustained during the period of the charter.
