ADVICE FOR YOUR SAFETY
Always wear the ‘kill cord’
· Life jackets are provided, please wear them
· Never abandon the boat. Remember RIBS consist of an inflatable collar, subdivided into watertight compartments which make it unsinkable. Even in the worst situation you will be safer and more visible on an inoperable or even capsized vessel than swimming alone in the open sea. Only abandon the vessel in the case of uncontrollable fire, and make sure you take all necessary safety equipment with you so you can signal for help.
· Full safety equipment, including fares, life jackets, fire extinguishers, VHF radio and flotation devices are located on board, please make sure you are familiar with them.
· Always get an up to date report on weather conditions and stay up to date.
· Do not stop or pull the boat onto the beach, even if they appear to be soft sand as this can cause damage to the hull.
· Do not anchor the vessel very close to the beach, in order to avoid any possible damage to the vessel by the waves of other passing vessels.
· When approaching a port or bay do not tie the boat randomly. Always check for a safe and appropriate place in order to avoid any damage to the vessel. If in doubt stay with the boat and monitor all surrounding obstacles, sea movement. If in doubt then relocate to a safe location.
· Keep a distance from floating ropes, fishing equipment, plastic bags and any debris floating in the water t protect the boat and engines from unnecessary damage.
· The boats DO NOT have a fishing permit, therefore, fishing is prohibited, if caught you will be subject to the consequences of violation of the fishing regulations
